The Food Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of a food service establishment, ensuring high quality food and service to customers, and managing a team of staff members.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction
  • Create and maintain budgets, inventory, and other financial records
  • Hire, train, and manage staff members, ensuring a positive work environment
  • Coordinate and supervise food preparation, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations
  • Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service management or a related role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
  • Degree in hospitality, business, or a related field is preferred
