The Food Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of a food service establishment, ensuring high quality food and service to customers, and managing a team of staff members.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction
- Create and maintain budgets, inventory, and other financial records
- Hire, train, and manage staff members, ensuring a positive work environment
- Coordinate and supervise food preparation, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service management or a related role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Degree in hospitality, business, or a related field is preferred
