As a Landscape Groundsman, you will work with a team to maintain and improve the appearance of outdoor spaces such as parks, golf courses, and gardens. Your role will involve performing various manual tasks to ensure that these spaces are well-kept and visually appealing.
Responsibilities
- Mow, edge, and trim lawns using equipment such as lawn mowers and weed trimmers
- Plant and maintain flowers, trees, and shrubs
- Prune and trim trees and bushes to maintain their shape and health
- Apply fertilizers and pesticides to maintain the health of plants
- Install and maintain irrigation systems
- Remove debris and maintain cleanliness of outdoor spaces
Qualifications
- Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping preferred
- Knowledge of lawn care and gardening techniques
- Ability to operate and maintain landscaping equipment
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
