The Hotel Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for hotel guests and employees. They will monitor and patrol the premises to prevent theft, violence, and other security risks.
Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance cameras and conduct regular patrols of the hotel premises
- Respond to emergency situations and incidents, such as disturbances, accidents, and medical emergencies
- Enforce hotel policies and procedures, including checking guest identification and monitoring access to restricted areas
- Handle and report any suspicious or disruptive behavior from guests or visitors
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in security or law enforcement preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in emergency situations
- Excellent observation and surveillance skills
- Physical fitness and ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
