Staff Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Assist in the month-end close process by reconciling accounts, recording journal entries, and preparing accruals
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including processing invoices, payments, and collections
• Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for budget vs. actual discrepancies
• Participate in financial audits and prepare audit schedules as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar accounting role
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
